Tahoma Bird alliance offers classes to our members and others in the community who want to learn more about birds and their habitats. We also offer occassional bird- and nature-related workshops. Some examples of past classes include making and painting birhouses, nature journaling, forest bathing, and of course, birding! Volunteer instructors design, plan and lead their class. Tahoma Bird Alliance staff help with review, fact checking, feedback, and marketing. We are particularly looking for people with birding experience and knowledge who could teach intermediate- or advanced-level classes. In-person classes can be held in conference room at the Adriana Hess Wetland Center. If you'd prefer to teach a virtual class, we can host it on our Zoom account.
