Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Contra Costa - East County Office

Description

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a federally legislated but locally sponsored agency that matches seniors age 55 and older with non-profit agencies, schools, healthcare agencies, etc. which need help. Volunteers are interviewed, given orientation to the program, and then offered volunteer opportunities that match their interests and time committments. RSVP partners with 100 non-profit agencies and schools and has more that 300 job descriptions from which to choose. The program serves the entire Contra Costa County with offices in Walnut Creek, Antioch and Richmond.
