Mission Statement

In the spirit of the Vision, Values, and Goals of Milpitas, the Milpitas Volunteer Program strives to promote a productive partnership with the community, elected officials and city employes. Our Mission is to utilize the diverse talents of volunteers for the benefit of the City of Milpitas and the community as a whole. We hope to enable volunteers to gain personal satisfaction and experience through meaningful volunteerism within the City Agency. With the contributions of volunteers, we seek to ensure quality customer services and enhance the quality of life in our community. The Milpitas Volunteer Parnters Program recruits enthusiastic and committed volunteers for various City Departments, including: City Manager's Office, Community Development, Finance, Fire, Police, Public Works, and Recreation and Community Services.
