Volunteers of America, Utah's Amplified Mentoring Program is looking for reliable, caring adults to provide youth with support as they grow and develop into successful members of our community. We're looking for kindhearted, compassionate adults to help shape today's youth to become upstanding citizens in the community. This program supports positive youth development by connecting young people with a one-to-one volunteer mentor. When youth know that someone cares about them and they are recognized for their contributions, they are more likely to develop their skills, make healthy choices, and achieve self-sufficiency. To be a mentor you must be at least 21 years of age and willing to commit to meet with a mentee for at least 6 to 8 hours a month for 9 months. For more information on how to impact a young person’s life in a positive way and become a mentor - CLICK HERE to see our website or reach out to Maira Rodriguez |maira.rodriguez@voaut.org | (385)-341-3573 Or apply to be a mentor using the link attached to this opportunity.
