Description
Make A Difference Day was created in 1992 by USA WEEKEND, in partnership with the Points of Light Foundation. It is a unique program that challenges and rewards volunteers with $2.8 million in charitable donations, with the help of Newman's Own and Wal-Mart. Make A Difference Day, the nation's largest day of service takes place the fourth Saturday of each October.
