Mission Statement
Colorful Minds aims to inspire creative self-expression among neurodivergent children through art workshops and events.
Description
Since its founding, Colorful Minds has hosted over 20 events at the Cupertino Library, the Pacific Autism Center for Education (PACE), and San Andreas Regional Center festivals. Our workshops create a space of inclusivity and fun among children with a variety of different developmental disabilities, including autism, ADHD, and megalencephaly-capillary malformation syndrome (MCAP). If you are interested in joining our cause, we welcome you to sign up as a volunteer if you reside in the Bay Area (https://www.colorfulminds.org/volunteer-today) or start your own chapter today (https://www.colorfulminds.org/chapters)!
We also offer a flexible, offline volunteering-based program called Artworks for Clinics. Students anywhere around the world can complete paintings on their own schedule to get sent to clinics to promote mood and a sense of upliftment. Volunteers will then receive as many volunteer hours as they spent creating the artwork. Please don't hesitate to reach out to contact.colorfulminds@gmail.com if you have more questions!
