Soul shine Guatemala is a US-based 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the Mayan people through sustainable initiatives aimed at overall community betterment. Our journey, marked by passion, dedication, and transformative impact, solidifies our commitment to serve the Mayan communities. We believe that no child in Mayan communities should go hungry. We support families with essential resources and recognize the importance of workhorses in their lives. We are deeply connected to the vibrant Mayan culture. We do our best to respect their indigenous religion while staying committed to hands-on involvement in their communities.

Description

We are dedicated to transforming lives and fostering hope in the heart of Guatemala. Our mission on two critical areas; supporting orphaned children and rescuing working tour horses within the vibrant community of Pacaya volcano.
In the wake of devastating landslides , we care for 55 resilient children who lost their parents. We provide healthcare, education and nourishing food. We provide a safe haven where they can heal, learn and thrive in a nurturing environment. Simultaneously, we are proud to be the Horse Rescue of Guatemala, advocating for the well being of the working tour horses that play a vital role in the local economy taking tourists up the volcano., supporting families of 7-10 people. Our commitment is to make sure that every horse receives the medical care they need, allowing them to continue their essential work while enabling their families to thrive. together we can create a brighter future filled with compassion and opportunity for these children and horses.
