There are many resources on a local level to address local need
We are grateful for the 100+ volunteers who chose to serve our guests. During the 22-23 winter months they served over 5,400 meals, shuttled guests to showers, collected clothing, coats, books, and toiletries, and graciously offered our guests their friendship. Additionally, we had countless community members join us in the clean up of abandoned homeless encampments in the Pottstown area.
During the 22-23 winter months we sheltered on average 24 men and women each night at our Warming Center that we operated in the basement of St. Paul’s UCC in Pottstown. In total we filled 4,239 beds. We are pleased to have been able to assist 38 of our guests in finding stable housing. We are grateful to the congregation and pastor of St. Paul’s for their unwavering support.
