CalPride is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant Intern to support the day-to-day operations of our organization. This intern will assist in administrative duties, scheduling, document management, and general office tasks, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our programs and services. Key Responsibilities: General Administrative Support: Assist with clerical duties such as answering phones, managing emails, filing, and maintaining office supplies. Scheduling and Coordination: Support the Executive Director and staff by scheduling meetings, events, and appointments. Maintain an updated calendar for the team. Data Entry and Record Keeping: Ensure accurate data entry into our systems and assist in maintaining organizational files, databases, and reports. Event Support: Help with the planning and execution of CalPride events, including outreach, preparation, and on-site assistance. Communications: Assist in drafting emails, reports, and other communications for both internal and external stakeholders. Client and Peer Interaction: Provide friendly and welcoming service to visitors, clients, and peer support participants. Special Projects: Assist with various projects as assigned, such as creating presentations or reports for CalPride initiatives. Qualifications: Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or recently graduated, preferably in a related field (Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Communications, Business Administration). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Passionate about LGBTQ+ rights and community service.
