The Cynthia F. Blaizes Foundation, is a haven of compassion and support for our cherished elderly community. In a world that often rushes forward, we stand still to acknowledge the profound wisdom, life experiences and contributions our seniors possess. At the Cynthia F. Blaizes Foundation, we believe in enriching the lives of the elderly by providing not just basic care, but genuine companionship and comprehensive programs that engage the elderly within their homes or senior facilities. We want to ensure that every senior knows that their value has increased and not decreased. We seek to foster a sense of purpose and accomplishment within the senior community. We are committed to creating a warm and nurturing environment where every individual feels valued and understood.
Description
Our mission is to enhance the lives of the elderly through compassionate care, companionship, and comprehensive memory support. Our nonprofit foundation is dedicated to fostering a community where seniors thrive with dignity and joy. Ensuring no senior feels like a burden or alone.
We are entering a few Adult Day health care centers local to Los Angeles, and are seeking volunteers to guide some of our weekly and monthly programs which we are implementing January 13th, 2025
We recently launched our Canvas of Care Program, which offers monthly sip-n-paint sessions for seniors at various Adult Day Health Care Centers in Los Angeles. This program not only provides a creative outlet but also fosters connection among our elderly participants. we are looking for individual who can help guide these paint sessions in Korean, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese
In addition, we have our Silver Readers Circle, a weekly reading class held in rehabilitation centers and nursing homes, where our goal if for seniors come together to immerse themselves in the world of literature. Through this program, we aim to explore beloved classics and contemporary gems, embarking on a journey of discovery guided by the rhythm of storytelling.
