Mission Statement
Is to inspire, mentor, and equip the next generation of talented students in Baltimore, by providing instruments and life skills that enable them to unlock their full potential, pursue the passion for music and ultimately improve school attendance and academic success.
Description
Next Up Music & Culture Inc. was founded in 2021 by Marsha Green, who is a native of West Baltimore. She has two sons who are alumni of Baltimore School for the Arts and college graduates as a result of the influence that music has in their lives. Our goal is to empower young musicians with the tools needed to thrive musically, academically, and socially. Our organization has awarded instruments to students in five different schools in 2023/2024. We have had two successful fundraisers since inception.
We are looking for a board secretary and additional board members to help with event planning, marketing and fundraising events. If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of young musicians, please contact Marsha Green at:
