Luminary Ministries is a non-profit ministry that serves youth and young adults in spiritual, personal growth, and the multiple needs of families. We formed our organization to provide services in life skills, financial literacy with an entrepreneur program, case management, vocational training with certification options, and mentorship. Our desire is to positively impact the community and see families thrive.
Description
Luminary Ministries is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering vulnerable youth, young adults, and families facing financial hardship, limited education, and unstable employment. We offer life skills training, vocational certifications, academic support, and spiritual mentorship to help individuals overcome these barriers. Our vocational training program provides hands-on learning and certifications in high-demand fields, creating pathways to stable employment and self-sufficiency.
Through partnerships with organizations like the MAC Center, UT Health, and Texas Workforce, we provide wraparound services such as financial literacy and case management to support each participant’s journey. Our commitment to inclusion is also evident in our BFI TREASURES gift shop, which serves as a training site that promotes disability inclusion, offering accessible, supportive skills development for all.
