PDX Songwriters Guild is a musicians’ community of composers, producers, and performers dedicated to the development and success of a sustainable music industry within and around Portland, OR.
Description
Portland Songwriters Guild, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is seeking a volunteer Board Member with experience in fundraising, grant writing, and community engagement. The commitment is approximately 3 hours per month, with occasional committee work adding up to 2 more hours monthly. This is a volunteer position with the potential to become stipend-based, contingent on fundraising results.
Who we are: Portland Songwriters Guild is an inclusive and empowering community where songwriters can develop their craft. We do this by:
- Creating pathways for songwriters and musical artists in the Pacific Northwest to build sustainable careers.
- Developing and facilitating a strong network of songwriters and musical artists.
- Providing professional learning opportunities for songwriters and musical artists.
- Fostering cooperation and partnerships within Portland’s music industry, including venues, record labels, and arts organizations, to meet the needs of artists.
