REF Origin Story: Raw Earth Foundation was born from a deep rooted dedication to service and a love for all things wild. Our Founder witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of climate change on the Amazon during their time volunteering in Ecuador. The eye-opening experience strengthened her determination to take action toward environmental challenges. A while later, while traveling through South Dakota, they encountered a charming prairie dog colony with a "For Sale" sign in front of their burrows. In that moment, wishing so strongly that land could be purchased and wildlife could be protected from their unfortunate fate, steps were taken to create an organization that could help. What we are doing Now: The early stages of Raw Earth Foundation have been centered around building our online store and establishing fundraising platforms to fuel our programs. We have made significant strides in networking and forging connections with several other organizations and government officials; expanding our reach, impact, and the building of relations. These efforts have laid the groundwork for the future growth of our initiatives. Looking ahead, we are excited to focus on growing our team and established programs, as well as our online presence. In addition we are looking forward to acquiring and establishing facilities to support our programs. What a "day in the life" of a Relationships Manager will look like: We are seeking a passionate and driven Relationships Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel at building and nurturing relationships with various stakeholders, including businesses, community organizations, and potential partners. This role will be vital in expanding our network and fostering collaborations that align with our mission. Identify and engage with local businesses and organizations to find sponsors and establish partnerships. Attend networking events and community meetings to promote Raw Earth Foundation's initiatives. Collaborate with other businesses and organize joint projects, such as tree planting and community clean-up days. Maintain and grow a contact database of potential partners and supporters. Develop and implement strategies to enhance partnerships and collaborations. Qualifications & Experience Necessary for the Role: - Based in the United States - Available to respond to emails/messaging/inquiries within 24 hours - accuracy and detail orientation - Strong verbal communication and active listening skills - Knowledge of our techstack and management tools/software helpful (i.e. Monday PMS, Clockify, Slack, Canva Pro etc.) - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Proven experience in relationship management, community outreach, or a similar field. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability. - Familiarity with fundraising or non-profit initiatives is a plus. What a "day in the life" of an REF Event Coordinator will look like: Are you passionate about the environment and have a knack for planning and organizing? This volunteer role is perfect for someone who enjoys managing logistics, connecting with people, and ensuring memorable experiences that further environmental awareness and action. Raw Earth Foundation is seeking an Event Coordinator to help bring our mission to life through impactful community events. As our Event Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial part in planning, organizing, and executing various events for us. You’ll manage logistics, coordinate with vendors, and oversee event details to ensure that our outreach, fundraising, and awareness efforts run smoothly. You can expect to: Plan, organize, and oversee event details for activities like educational workshops, outreach events, and fundraising galas. Coordinate with venues, vendors, and community partners to secure locations and resources needed for each event. Develop event timelines, manage schedules, and oversee logistics on the day of the event. Work closely with other volunteers to ensure events are staffed and run smoothly. Research and coordinate local event opportunities such as farmers markets, fairs, and environmental festivals, to expand Raw Earth Foundation’s community reach. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and increase community engagement. Develop e-books, training manuals, and courses on topics such as environmental sustainability, native plants, permaculture, and foraging. Create pamphlets and informational materials that highlight our initiatives and programs. Design and organize workshops and educational sessions for diverse audiences, including volunteers, ambassadors, sponsors, and donors. Collaborate with our team to ensure content aligns with our mission and is accessible to a broad audience.
