Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Data Science Volunteer to join our technical team. This role will leverage your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning to enhance the HumanoMaximus.Org platform, ultimately helping vulnerable populations access the support they need. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources. Analyze the data to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that can inform the development of the platform’s features. Model Development: Lead the development and testing of predictive models, including recommendation systems, natural language processing (NLP) algorithms, and other machine learning techniques to improve user experience and service delivery. Advanced Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to evaluate the impact of the platform's features, assist in identifying areas for improvement, and inform strategic decisions. Data-Driven Insights: Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to optimize the platform's performance and to tailor services to user needs, especially vulnerable populations. Mentorship and Guidance: Work closely with the internal team, offering guidance on data-driven decision-making, model selection, and best practices. Mentor junior data scientists and interns. Collaboration: Collaborate with product and tech teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring the platform’s data infrastructure aligns with organizational goals. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of processes, methodologies, and analyses to ensure transparency and reproducibility of data-driven initiatives. Qualifications: Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis, ideally in a similar field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with expertise in data science libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn). Experience in building machine learning models and data pipelines, including data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation. Strong statistical knowledge, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and predictive modeling. Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders. Position Overview: We are seeking a Corporate Relations Volunteer to support our corporate fundraising efforts. This volunteer will assist in cultivating and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and sponsors to secure funding and resources for CSA’s programs.
