Our History

QWAK Humane Shelter Systems was founded in 2023 with the mission of ensuring that no pet is left behind during times of disaster. We were inspired by the need for dedicated animal sheltering solutions in emergency response. With our dedicated team and the guidance of experts from high-population animal shelters, we’ve developed an approach that ensures pets are sheltered safely and stay close to their families in times of need.

Our Goals

Our goal is simple: to provide high-quality, compassionate sheltering for pets during disasters and to ensure that animals and their families remain together. We aim to establish a nationwide network of animal disaster response teams. In the long term, our goal is to expand across multiple regions and become a trusted part of emergency management plans at both state and federal levels.
