Mission Statement
Our mission is to inspire curiosity and foster a passion for astronomy by providing accessible stargazing experiences and educational outreach. Through star parties, school science nights, and community engagement, we aim to promote a wider understanding of the universe , and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the night sky.
Description
We host a monthly Dark Night Observing evening, school and university star parties, public star parties, twice a year campouts at high altitude dark sky areas in the Sierras, monthly meetings with guest speakers, telescope clinics, and more.
We are in need of volunteers to help us with social media outreach and website management.
