upendo Children's Hoe is a community support initiative dedicated to empowering vulnerable children and their families. it was established in Migori, Kenya in 2022 by the Church of God of Prophecy-Canaan and was officially registered with the government of Kenya as Upendo Community Based Organization (CBO) in 2023 under the Ministry of Labor and social Protection. Registration no. RGO/CBO/196/2023. The Home exemplifies the Church's commitment to aiding orphaned and disadvantaged children, showcasing its dedication and charisma. The primary mission of Upendo Children's Home is to empower orphaned and disadvantaged children by providing them with access to education, health services and opportunities for participating in family and community development activities. The overriding vision is to foster a supportive environment where these children can thrive and become productive members of society. Currently, Upendo Children's Home supports 62 children mostly orphans from kangeso and the surrounding village areas. The success of Upendo Children's Home is largely attributed to its collaborative efforts with various organizations and governmental bodies.
