We are seeking two skilled Grant Writers to join our team and help us secure funding to support our programs and initiatives. Position Overview: We are seeking two passionate and skilled Volunteer Grant Writers to become our Grant writing Team. You will play a crucial role in helping us secure funding to support our programs and initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in nonprofit work, grant writing, and regenerating our world. Key Responsibilities: Research and identify potential grant opportunities that align with our mission. Write, edit, and submit grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government entities. Collaborate with our team to gather necessary data, reports, and information to support grant applications. Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submissions. Provide regular updates on the status of grant proposals and opportunities. Qualifications: Strong writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail. 1+ years of experience in grant writing or fundraising or equivalent qualification. Excellent research skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills. Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Expert to help our organization transition from Mailchimp to Salesforce. This role involves setting up and optimizing Salesforce for our email marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) needs. The ideal volunteer will have hands-on experience with Salesforce, a strong understanding of email marketing strategies, and CRM best practices. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the migration of data and email campaigns from Mailchimp to Salesforce NPSP Set up Salesforce for email marketing and CRM functionality, tailored to our nonprofit's needs Create and manage email templates, lists, and automated workflows within Salesforce Provide guidance on best practices for Salesforce usage and email marketing strategies Train team members on how to use Salesforce effectively for email campaigns and CRM Troubleshoot and resolve any Salesforce-related issues that arise during the transition Qualifications: Proven experience working with Salesforce (certifications are a plus) Knowledge of email marketing strategies and tools Familiarity with CRM principles and nonprofit operations Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively Independent work ethic Experience with Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms is a bonus Time Commitment: This is a flexible, remote volunteer role. We focus on growing native, drought-resistant, pollinator-friendly, and edible plants that support local wildlife and benefit our communities’ resilience, shade access, and mental health. Role Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic Plant Propagator Volunteer to assist with the propagation and maintenance of native and drought-resistant plants. This hands-on role at our Garden Grove headquarters involves preparing plants for local community projects, helping educate the community on sustainable practices, and contributing to the overall success of our environmental mission. Responsibilities Propagate, transplant, and maintain native, drought-tolerant, pollinator-friendly, and edible plants. Assist with soil preparation, watering, weeding, and general plant care.
