Mission Statement
The mission of HOPE Connection is to help people whose lives have been touched by the death of a loved one - by providing individual and group support, educational programs and information that helps alleviate the pain of grief and promote healing.
Description
* HOPE Connection has been offering grief support groups since 1979.
* All support groups are facilitated by LICENSED THERAPISTS who are trained in group process and grief.
* Our main spousal loss group program is a two-year program arranged by months of mourning. They are open groups so new grievers are added on an ongoing basis.
* Parent loss and other specific focus groups are held in 8 week series.
* We provide a safe, non-judgmental environment, encouraging people to share their feelings, experiences and wisdom.
* Grievers are given feedback, validation and support during their grief and healing experience.
* We have several geographical locations to provide easier access to our services. We also provide some virtual groups to provide services to a larger Los Angele County and Ventura County community
* There is a one time orientation and orientation fee is required to join our groups. No one is turned away due to finances. Other financial arrangements can be made for those in need.
