Mission Statement

City Elementary inspires neurodiverse learners to take risks and achieve their fullest academic and social potential.

Description

At City Elementary, providing a stellar education for neurodiverse children is our purpose and our passion. Located in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, City Elementary is tailored to the academic, social, emotional, and sensory needs of children with autism, ADHD, and related forms of neurodiversity. Our students thrive in small classrooms with expert teachers who provide support for attention, regulation, and social connection. They gain learning strategies, self-regulation tools, and self-advocacy skills, all within a warm, tight-knit school community where their individuality is embraced and celebrated. The impact of this unique learning environment is nothing short of transformational.
