Join our vision to give the gift of sight! Your expertise can change lives in our community. Make a difference with just a few hours of your care by volunteering with our Mobile Eye Health Team. ECN Purpose is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to make access to vision care possible for the underserved population through advocacy, education, outreach, and connection. We understand how vision affects daily life and the ability to succeed so we bring vision care to people who may not otherwise have services available to them. Our partnership can bring together our abilities and passions to collectively make a difference in fulfilling the unmet needs involving vision health. Vision care is often overlooked especially in underserved communities. Our programs are intended to close the gap of eye health knowledge and create connection to vision care among individuals who may not otherwise have services available to them. The ECN Purpose Mobile Eye Health van is equipped to provide eye screenings and a full eye exam provided by a volunteer licensed optometrist or technician. We also offer education sessions and materials, sourced from accredited vision organizations, on topics of eye health. We meet people where they are and safely connect them to vision care. We travel to specific locations based on partners in the community, grants available, and where our programs will best serve Orange County, California.
