We strive to uplift spirits, evoke memories, and create positive environments for individuals and families in Pittsburgh and beyond. Job Description: Scent with Love Pittsburgh is seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Advisor to join our Board of Directors. As a member of the board, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of our organization, ensuring our continued growth and impact in the community. Key Responsibilities: Budgeting and Financial Planning: Assist in developing the organization's annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and priorities. Provide input on revenue projections, expense allocations, and financial targets to drive financial sustainability and growth. Fundraising and Revenue Generation: Utilize your expertise in donor relations, grant applications, and other fundraising activities to support the organization's financial sustainability. Identify new opportunities for revenue generation and strategic partnerships to expand our funding sources. Strategic Planning: Participate actively in strategic planning discussions, integrating financial considerations into the organization's long-term goals and decision-making processes. Provide insights and recommendations to the board on financial strategies that support our mission and vision. Qualifications: Proven experience in financial advisory roles, preferably in the non-profit sector. Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and strategic financial management. Demonstrated success in fundraising and revenue generation through donor relations, grant writing, or other means. Commitment to the mission and values of Scent with Love Pittsburgh.
