Mission Statement
Our mission is to unite Social Workers by creating purposeful opportunities to collaborate and network for the enhancements of our community.
Description
Our goals and services:
Organize a community service event, such as a volunteer day at a local food bank, homeless shelter, or nursing home. The event can provide an opportunity for social workers to connect with community members they may not normally interact with and build relationships with other organizations.
Organize a networking event for social workers in the community. This can be an opportunity for social workers to share their experiences, ideas, and collaborate for the betterment of the community.
Host a professional development workshop for social workers. The workshop can focus on topics such as best practices in case management, legal and ethical issues, and professional boundaries.
Plan a fundraiser for a local non-profit working towards enhancing the well-being of the community. The event can create awareness of organizations, gain financial support, and bring together the community.
