Mission Statement

Our goal is to ensure all of our neighbors and their loved ones have access to comprehensive care and comfort when they need it most. Whether at home or away, wherever you need us, Arden will be there to provide peace, encouragement and the highest quality end of life services. Your Life Matters.

Description

Arden is dedicated to fostering care at every stage for our patients. We understand that home is not just where the heart is; it’s also where your greatest health and care should be. We aim to bring patients and their families closer to peace with time, through healing or loss.

Hospice care focuses on the care, comfort and quality of life of a person with a terminal illness. Hospice agencies are compromised of a well rounded team to help assist each patient with their own individualized end of life care plan, assisted by their: Medical Director/Physician, Nurses, Social Worker, Chaplain, Home Health Aides, Bereavement Coordinator and Volunteers.

Our Hospice Volunteers fill a very rewarding and beneficial experience for our patients and their caregivers. Our volunteers support patient care either through direct or indirect activities, functions include: companionship, listening, reading, art/music enrichment, running errands or shopping, assisting with light yard or household tasks, brief respite for caregivers or even administrative tasks performed in the office itself such as filing, data entry, answering phones, etc.

If you think you are ready for a most rewarding adventure in Hospice Volunteering, please reach out today and make a difference in not only a patients life, but also in yours!
