Our mission is to empower at-risk youth in our community through an interactive, hands-on approach to enhance their self-awareness and provide them with the life skills needed to reach their full potential.

Description

I AM U Mentoring, a nonprofit organization, was founded in 2022 in Maryland by James Freeman. Determined to make a difference, Mr. Freeman sought out to work
with schools and communities in the DMV area to help bring emotional stability to the youth. We are determined to enhance academic performance, increase
attendance, and build community connections. We have been actively working with Kingsman Academy Charter school in NE DC providing 1:1 mentoring, group mentoring, skilled mentors to help students identify their strengths.
