Mission Statement
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping less fortunate children of the world discover and learn about the world of STEM by visiting hospitals with fun science projects to engage them with. GALAXY, Giving Access to Learning And Xploration for the Youth. We are a nonprofit organization that dedicates our time to helping the less fortunate kids of our world have access to the fascinating world of science. We are passionate individuals who deeply care about science and find it heartbreaking that thousands of kids around the world don’t have opportunities to learn and have fun in STEM. We will visit children's hospitals and enlighten kids in the world of science to help open doors to them and show how helpful it can be.
Description
galaXy Nonprofit visits hospitals with with fun and safe science experiments for children to open their worlds to STEM and get them engaged with what it has to offer. We are dedicated to bringing smiles to kids that don't have the easiest lives and work to bring joy to their worlds while also inspiring them to pursue their dreams and get them interested in the world of science and bring out the potential of underprivileged kids. We have also held programs at our local libraries to offer free STEM experiments and educate those that cannot afford expensive education and to all kids that are interested in science. We aim to expand our nonprofit across the world and collect more donations to ensure all kids, no matter their background, are able to receive and enjoy STEM education.
