We are searching for special men and women who want to volunteer a small portion of their time to help someone in your community who is facing a life- limiting illness. In order to provide patient's and family's with a broad spectrum of spiritual, physical, and emotional support we need your help. No matter what your talents are, YOU can make difference in someone's life. Days and times are very flexible. When you volunteer with us, you become part of a team of skilled, compassionate people who dedicate their time to truly noble cause. Being a volunteer means a lot. Being a hospice volunteer means everything. You can make an difference today! Volunteers give their time in several ways: Patient Support Volunteer- Visit patient's provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, leisure activities, or by being a supportive presence. Administrative Volunteers- Providing administrative office support through clerical duties such as data entry, filing or phone calls. Veteran Volunteers-"Vets caring for Vets" needs individuals who are willing to share their time to help fellow veterans who are dealing with end-of- life issues.
