Mission Statement

Description
The Sisters of St. Joseph are an order of Catholic religious women founded in 1640. They strive to live their values through a love of God and neighbor, unity forged through respect and appreciation of diversity, reconciliation fostered among all people, actions in response to the needs of the times, and receptiveness to and oneness with creation. The Sisters believe in the power, presence and love of God working through an evolving universe and in God's self-communication through Jesus Christ. They continue to respond to needs, especially in the areas of justice and the environment, and to bring their vision to life through their various ministries and programs.
