A Little More Love is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting terminally ill patients. We are looking for volunteers to sew or crochet blankets for cancer patients at Cooper University Hospital, Virtua Hospital, and Jefferson Einstein Hospital. Volunteers can make blankets and mail them in from any location. Our organization will cover shipping costs. All volunteers will earn a certificate verifying their community service hours toward this project. A Little More Love is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting terminally ill patients. As part of this project, volunteers from ANYWHERE can sign up to make sensory shakers for patients suffering from neuroligical disorders. Fill jars or bottles with beads and charms to create the shakers. We will mail you empty bottles if you do not have any at home. We encourage volunteers to form groups to make the shakers, altough they can be made alone. Volunteers will earn certified community service hours. All volunteers are eligible to earn the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) in gold, silver, or bronze. Completed books should be mailed back to our office. We will cover all shipping costs!

Looking for leadership experience? We welcome individuals from all locations to start a chapter of A Little More Love. What is a A Little More Love? A Little More Love is a youth-led, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers palliative and hospice care patients. At the core of our mission is a commitment to reducing social isolation and depression among terminally ill patients. Please visit our website at alittlemorelove.org for more details about our organization. What is a chapter? A chapter is a group. It can represent a school, town, district, religious group, or even just a group of friends. Anyone can sign up to start a chapter. There are no age or location restrictions. Chapters are typically led by 1 or 2 directors and should contain at least 10 active members. What is the role of a chapter director? As a chapter director, you will lead a team and direct initiatives that align with our mission of supporting terminally ill patients. We will help you connect with hospice centers and other patient facilities in your area. We will also help you recruit members and establish methods of communication between you. After connecting with nearby organizations, you can organize events, activities, and fundraisers. Please visit the OUR IMPACT page on alittlemorelove.org to see examples of events, activities, and fundraisers that our primary chapter in Cherry Hill has organized as per the request of their nearby hospice center. We strongly suggest all chapters host fundraisers and/or crowdfund. This is because you must fund your chapter's events and activities. Our organization is tax-exempt and eligible to fundraiser with most certified restaurants and companies. You could also explore online fundraising through our Betterworld campaign. Perks? Our organization provides chapter directors with expert guidance to ensure your success. You and your members will be given free starter kits, including apparel, flyers, and stickers for advertisement. All chapter directors and members are able to earn the President's Volunteer Service Award in gold, silver, or bronze each year. Bind together paper pages to create a booklet and add inspirational quotes, short poems, stickers, and other decorations. Our organization will mail supplies to if needed. We encourage volunteers to form groups to make the books. Volunteers will earn certified community service hours. Completed books should be mailed back to our office. All shipping costs will be covered by our organization.
