Help us spread joy and food security by building a garden! No experience needed Gardens For Everyone (GFE) helps people grow their own veggies at home by building backyard, raised-bed garden boxes and supporting box recipients as they begin growing food. Priority is given to low to moderate income households, as well as organizations that want to grow food for their community. We love our volunteers! Volunteers for this program would help build and fill the garden with the help of our team. This is a fun and rewarding opportunity for small groups and individuals. *The shifts represent opportunties in different locations. For details, check links below: May 8th May 15th

Camden Street Learning Garden is more than a green space in the middle of a city. It is a space that provides community members with the opportunity to cultivate new relationships as they find out where their food comes from, how to grow it, and how to turn it into healthy and affordable meals. No gardening experience is required to volunteer! Join us for a morning in the garden to jump start your day! Tasks Volunteers will assist with general garden tasks such as harvesting, planting, weeding, mulching, and watering. Garden tasks are subject to change daily based on needs but please come prepared to bend, kneel, and lift items to complete our daily tasks. Volunteers can also support our garden education courses and other initiatives facilitated at our Growing School Garden sites. To Volunteer If you're interested in volunteering at Camden Street Learning Garden, please visit https://foodshuttle.galaxydigital.com/agency/detail/?agency_id=93791 or email Taylor at taylor@foodshuttle.org.
