Mission Statement

Our vision: In order to work towards a world that values bodily autonomy for all, YES! provides anti-oppressive and shame-free sexuality education through a social justice lens to people of all ages and across various forms of media so that we can all live more liberated and healthy lives. Our mission: To provide anti-oppressive, consent-based, pleasure-focused sexuality education to all people using interactive workshops, social media, and other mediums.

Description

Current programming: YES! provides ~175 workshops each year to people of all ages. For our youth programming, we partner with public and private K-12 schools, after-school programs, preschools, and other community organizations. We also offer programming for adults at colleges and universities, workforce development programs such as AmeriCorps and PowerCorps PHL, and community organizations such as Fishtown Wellness Center, Vox Populi, and SHIP. Additionally, we lead workshops for parents and caregivers about how to talk to their children about a variety of sexuality- and consent-related topics, as well as offering one-on-one educational sessions to support parents/caregivers with specific sexuality-related issues they are facing with their children. YES! also offers professional development trainings for teachers and healthcare providers. We are currently able to offer programming in English and Spanish.

In addition to our educational workshops, YES! creates other educational resources, including a podcast called What is Sex? , which explores questions asked by young people in our sexuality education workshops. Other resources include a consent coloring book and various coloring sheets.
