We are looking for Like minded individuals that want to help raise funds, create awareness, or help us run our organization! We are a small org that is quickly growing on social media and would love to expand as much as we can! The most popular of the ways is our Affiliate Program that we have on our site. This is a popular choice for content creators and social media influencers. Not into social media? No Problem! We have some flyers available for you to print, share on your pages, show your coworkers, pretty much anywhere animals are available, you can do the best thing anyone can do to help. Feel free to make some with your family and have your furry friends help. Word of mouth. That's it! simple huh? I know, it's mind blowing! What we are also looking for is someone to help us with our books, taxes, and any other back end things! We run our organization on Shopify and need assistance with making sure our site is at full optimization! There is so much to do, feel free to reach out if you feel you have something that we could use! We are open to anyone willing to help us in any way.

This is the EVER growing list of all the ways you can offer your help to us! Whether its something simple like sharing our socials, or something bigger like lending your talent, skills or personal profession to help us advance to our next level! As our goals are achieved and our organization grows, this list will have things that may eventually become more and more complex to the point where not even I will be able to undertake the task! That is where all you amazing folk come in. Now I know what I am about to say is going to sound absolutely bonkers and I am going to hear a lot of, "Really? But how is it that you founded a nonprofit??" but believe it or not I have a VERY hard time asking for help. There are a lot if reasons for this, but the biggest one I have faced my whole life is there always was a catch. This organization is not for me, it is for something bigger than myself and for that reason I am completely stepping out of my comfort zone and learning to let go of being able to control and handle all aspects of this organization on my own. Could I do it on my own? Sure, eventually I'll get somewhere, I have gotten this far, what's the next 40 years. But that isn't the best way to go about assisting the organization grow to its fullest potential, so this is me asking. Hey, could you spare some time and help a pet out?? I am going to do my best to post in here what needs to be done in order for us to maintain ourselves and grow to the place that I have always envisioned and beyond. I hope this organization keeps going long long after I am gone and is taken over by all of you awesome folk to keep this mission alive. As long as there are animals in need, Not Just Pets will be there! EZ Tasks (Don't Even Have To Leve The Couch!) Go to our socials and follow and share our social media(SM) posts! Add any of our socials to your own personal SM accounts. Simple word of mouth, get people talking about us, create awareness. We need everyone to know what Not Just Pets is and how they can support the cause. Mid Tasks (May Require Some Movement From The Couch!) Print out some flyers and hand them out! You can find the marketing material on our website Set up a fundraiser, you can also use the material from our site to set up fundraisers at local events, schools, parks and anywhere else you can think of! Volunteer at a local shelter and create awareness of our cause so we can help them get the funding they need! Record a video of you and your companion explaining what they mean to you and why they are part of your family, send it to us so we can share it to all of our SM! Gathering information(Name/Phone#/Email) on Animal Welfare Organizations to be added to our site so we can help them get funded, volunteers or even donations! Calls to those on the list asking if they would like to be part of our organization and how we can help them Gathering Information on pet friendly places (i.e. Dog parks, Pet Cafes, Dog beaches, Pet sitters/walkers, Kennels, Pet Day Care Etc. Etc.) Gathering information on all kinds of wildlife Gathering pet traveling information (i.e. rules and regulations by state, country, service(planes, trains, Etc.) Pet Friendly Hotels) Calling animal related business, foundations, groups or anyone else to let them know about us and joining the cause Outreach for volunteers Prospect Research Hard Tasks (You're gonna leave the couch) For our content creators and SM influencers, become an affiliate and represent all of our cool merch and events! Info on Affiliate program on our Website! CPA, CFO and/or Bookkeeper Someone to help with Google programs such as Google Ads (Grant), Google Merchant, Google Tags and Google Analytics Shopify Store Optimization including, but not limited to SEO, Site Speed, Site Stability for not only desk top but also mobile (No we do NOT want to use another platform) Email Marketing and any kind of networking Photos of pets/with pet parents, art, videos and any other creative things that we can utilize on our site or SMs Back end HTML and other coding for our Shopify store. Grant Writing and Fundraising Coordination Web/Graphic design/developers Mobile App Design Become a board member (This requires at least one year of volunteering with the organization to know how truly dedicated you are to the cause) Calling dealerships (vehicle or boat) or real estate agencies to donate anything they have available through our cars.com program If you have any other ways you think you can help please let us know!
