LEADING WITH LOVE INC

Description

Founded in 2018, Leading with Love, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded by Dwanita Woodward. Leading with Love is a cultural leadership program designed to develop the leadership skills of young girls empowering them to become change agents inside and outside of their communities by providing mentorship, leadership development, and cultural immersion experiences.

Leading with Love’s intent is that every young girl has an opportunity to expand the vision for their lives by exploring the world and discovering the vast community outside of their city blocks. When young girls are given the opportunity to see the world, their idea of self, their ability to dream, and their sheer potential becomes limitless.

Leading with Love's Cultural Leadership Program targets female high school students from under-resourced backgrounds who are academically motivated, vested in the community, and have demonstrated act(s) of leadership in their family, school, and/or community. With the support of a mentor, leadership training, and cross-cultural experiences, young leaders will be empowered to shape their own futures.
