The mission of the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is to establish and maintain a corps of active and retired medical professionals, laypersons and public health professionals to serve during medical or public health threats or emergencies requiring surge capacity.
The Medical Reserve Corps is a national network of over 300,000 volunteers working to improve the health and safety of their communities. In Yavapai County, we welcome volunteers with both medical and non-medical backgrounds. Our volunteers are poised to help with hospital surge, patient screening, evacuation shelters, vaccinations, emergency phone banks for wildfires and floods, and community health education events.
