Mission Statement
We believe that compassionate and personalized care is at the heart of healing. Our aim is to deliver care that creates a sense of family and home for both our clients and caregivers, while establishing a nurturing environment that enhances our clients’ independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Description
From a young age, I was instilled with the value of helping others by my mother. My experiences with her and an elderly neighbor in need ignited my passion for making a positive impact in people’s lives. Embracing this passion, I pursued hospitality as a career, finding joy in bringing comfort and delight to those I served.
Upon my move to the United States, I discovered the role of a caregiver and recognized it as the most fulfilling job I had ever undertaken. To me, caregiving is more than just a profession; it’s a profound calling that I embrace wholeheartedly. The opportunity to create positive changes in people’s lives through our efforts at SF Homecare is both humbling and deeply rewarding.
As a patient and family support volunteer at SF Home Care, your role is to bring comfort, compassion, and a touch of entertainment to individuals and their families. Whether you’re visiting in a home setting or care facility, our volunteer opportunities encompass various meaningful tasks.
The goal is to keep the clients active and engaged in the things that brings them joy such as watching the news or sport event and discuss it with someone who has the same interest as they are. as people age, they lose excitement and they lose their friends and loved ones leading them to be isolated and alone in their won home. My goal is to have them live their lives to the fullest.
