WellStrong is a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to create safe, supportive communities of people in recovery from substance use disorder through fitness, mindfulness and other wellness opportunities.

Description

As a community-based environment, WellStrong is committed to providing a supportive and nurturing space to empower individuals on their path to recovery, regardless of their ability to pay.

  • The fitness classes we offer promote cardiovascular fitness, build strength and endurance, increasing flexibility and balance, while boosting cognitive function.
  • Our programs are effective at improving mood by promoting self-awareness, cultivating a positive mindset, and reducing stress and anxiety.
  • By providing a sense of community and connection we foster mindfulness and compassion, promote personal growth, inner peace, and balance.
  • We offer job opportunities to people in early recovery, giving them a chance to start a new life.
