Serving with you in service above self to the community of Owasso, OK, and the surrounding areas.
Description
We are a 501(c)(3) membership organization whose main product is service to the community. Our main project is our Vial of Life program in partnership with Owasso Fire Department. The Vial of Life program is nationally recognized as saving countless lives each year by providing emergency responders with life-saving medical information during an emergency. We envision a diversified membership that reflects the wide variety of people who live and work in Owasso, OK and the surrounding areas.
Programs:
1. Vial of Life program
The Rotary Club of Owasso, in partnership with the Owasso Fire Department, launched the Vial of Life program for home-bound seniors and residents on February 1, 2024. The Vial of Life program is nationally recognized as saving countless lives each year by providing emergency responders with life-saving medical information during an emergency.
2. Dictionaires for 3rd Graders Project
- Each year we provide student dictionaries to 3rd graders accross the city.
- Example: In 2023 we provided 730 dictionaries to students in 12 different schools.
4. Support Owasso Community Resources as they transform the lives of families facing economic hardship by providing basic needs: food, utility, rent and job search assistance.
