Description
The automotive free clinic started four years ago in the back of a pickup truck by one man and a desire to help others. It has now become a non-profit organization in a 6 bay garage located in Prattville, Alabama area continuing on with the mission and vision of serving our community. In this time, we have serviced over 500 vehicles, donated 5, provided education in regard to auto repair and maintenance. Our goal is to continue supporting our community and expand our services as we can with the help of volunteers like you and donations from the community. This includes educating others such as youth, seniors, etc. in the fields of auto repair and maintenance in order to empower them to handle their own repairs or empower them to not feel intimidated when taking their car elsewhere.
To meet the above goals, we need volunteers. This includes not only those who love turning a wrench in a stress free, rewarding environment but those with skills in administration, fundraising, event planning or just a friendly face. Through your volunteer experience with us you will not only gain a sense of pride and purpose from what we do but also save money on your own auto repairs by gaining access to our services.
So come join us, make a difference. Safe operating vehicles allow folks to thrive, support their communities and provide safety for others by helping to eliminate unwanted accidents through unsafe vehicle operations.
