Mission Statement

The mission of the Florida Lung Health Coalition is to revolutionize lung cancer screening through innovative approaches that tackle existing challenges. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our primary objective is to re-imagine and implement an effective lung cancer screening program, targeting the current barriers hindering widespread participation. With a focus on improving lung health in the community, our mission is rooted in the ambition to elevate lung cancer screening uptake from its current 3% to a significant 30% by the year 2030 in Florida. Through strategic initiatives, community engagement, and a commitment to addressing disparities in access, the Florida Lung Health Coalition endeavors to make a substantial impact on early detection and ultimately enhance the survival rates of lung cancer among the population we serve.
