Mission Statement
Our non-profit passionately fosters a supportive community for survivors of church hurt, initiates conversations on alternative funding for mental health, educates on trauma and religious abuse, engages the community, and ensures sustainability through fundraising and comprehensive mental health services, including individual, group, family, and couples counseling. Together, we empower survivors, promote awareness, and create lasting change in the lives of those impacted by church hurt.
Description
Our organization provides training to professionals and organizations on trauma and religious abuse in addition to providing mental health therapy. Our current goals include filling vacant board positions, expanding fundraising, and building community engagement. In our first year of operation we have supported 14 clients, trained 4 organizations and provided trauma-informed consultation to two organizations. We hope to expand our efforts in alignment with our growth.
