Description
Who is the WCC?
The WCC helps promote health and well-being with evidence-based prevention strategies which promote mental wellness and reduce substance misuse to the general population while building resilience, promoting protective factors, and reducing risk factors. We do this through programs and collaborations to bring fun, community based activities to our youth, individuals, and families. We work in partnership with the community to make a positive and lasting impact on community members through prevention, education, recovery, and support. We are a volunteer driven non-profit organization. The WCC's activities include outreach, education, prevention, service delivery, capacity building, resilience, empowerment, community action, and system change.
