The purpose of WIAC is to assist local artists and arts organizations by providing support, fiscal management & sponsorship; to engage in community arts outreach, increasing community awareness of the arts and culture of Whidbey Island.
Description
Engage * Enrich * Amplify
WIAC engages with local creators and audiences to enrich our social environment, amplifying their messaging in order to create abundant opportunities for the arts to play a prominent role in the economic health of Whidbey Island. We do this through fiscal sponsorship of emerging arts organizations, publishing a monthly arts & culture guide, spreading member content via our social media channels, and through a robust program of workshops, classes and member grant opportunities.
