Volunteer Transportation Specialists deliver blood donations from collection locations to the processing center and out to hospitals where it can be used to save lives. As a Transportation Specialist, you are a vital part of saving millions of lives each year by simply driving blood products where they need to go in our region. Requirements: Position requires a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to lift approximately 45 pounds. Time Commitment: Routes vary but average 4-6 hours with deliveries from Great Falls to rural Montana hospitals or Red Cross sites such as Missoula and Helena. We ask for a willingness to commit to 2 or more shifts per month. As a volunteer, you will have the ability to sign up for the days, times, and routes that work best for your needs.
