Mission Statement
Open Doors Youth and Family Services exists to provide a safe, nurturing environment that promotes educational and financial competence as well as social and emotional skills development for our youth. Through mentorship, advocacy, and mental health counseling, we further in bridging the gaps between youth and families. This work will be carried out through the establishment of community centers throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
Description
Under the auspices of ODYFS, we offer several subdivisions that provide various services to empower and strengthen individuals and families. Our subdivisions include Youth Enrichment, Men's Empowerment, Women's Empowerment, and Family Strengthening Services. We aim to expand our services by establishing Elderly Supportive Services as well. Our services focus on supporting the development of all youth, especially those who are disadvantaged. We provide various services, including education and training, inspirational entrepreneurship, financial management, mentorship, counseling, and therapy, within subdivisions to ensure the strengthening of family units.
