Mission Statement
Our mission is to create a future where African communities thrive through the collective efforts of their empowered youth. To achieve that dream, we need to create a network of passionate Volunteers who want to contribute to a brighter, more just and equal future for all.
Description
ReCoding Africa is a Service Learning and Volunteer Program designed to offer European and American students an immersive experiential learning opportunity where they acquire valuable soft and hard skills while empowering African Youth. Enrich your life, cultivate leadership skills, and make a lasting impact on communities. Together, let's build a brighter future through service. We will happily support you in requesting credits from your university for our service learning program.
In an era where technology is transforming industries and shaping the future, Africa is poised to take its place on the global tech stage. Our project aims to offer African high school students the strategic coding skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the 21st-century information society. The true impact of R.O.S.A.’s free coding courses and remote IT job opportunities extends far beyond individual employment. It's about creating a sustainable local development model based on education, leadership, and entrepreneurship. We are not just teaching coding. At ReCoding Africa we're empowering Youth to code for a better future and become change makers.
