I embrace the vision of this organization. I am grateful to the top leadership for believing in me when I applied, even if I did not have any direct experience in the cybersecurity field outside the school labs. I get the opportunity to learn every day in a very positive environment. Gifted people volunteer in this amazing and fast growing organization. Team members are always available to lend a hand to help and share their knowledge. I am learning a lot and improving my skills without feeling any pressure. Many organizations ask for assistance, but very few respond to your willingness to help. CDIC has been a healthy and diverse training environment, as well as an incredibly supportive community of professionals at different levels. As a disabled veteran, I immediately felt welcome as a part of this family, and that simply does not happen often. Very few organizations are carrying the work loads of a government agency, and CDIC is one of them!
