A private, not-for-profit service organization located in Philadelphia, PA, CORA Services provides an array of comprehensive professional services focused on prevention, intervention, remediation and referral assistance.

Description

CORA is a large social services agency in Philadelphia that provides a variety of services to children and families in Philadelphia. CORA has four service divisions: school services, clinical services, community services, and Good Shepherd Mediation.

School Services provides auxiliary services to children and youth in non-public and charter schools in Philadelphia and Camden, New Jersey. Examples of programs in this division include speech therapy, occupational and physical therapy, guidance counseling, education, and early intervention.

Clinical Services provides therapy-based services to children, youth, adults, and families. Programs in the Clinical Services division include Intervention Prevention Services, Student Assistance Program, Family and Individual Therapy, Drug and Alcohol Counseling, Law Enforcement Family Therapy, and Intensive Behavioral Health Supports.

The Community Services Division offers community-based prevention programs to support families. Programs in the Community Services Division include YouthCOR after-school programs, Prevention Education, Youth Support Services, Truancy Intervention Prevention Services, Community School Case Management, Lifeline Parenting Program, and Early Years Early Childhood Programs.

Finally, Good Shepherd Mediation offers mediation services; the largest program is the Eviction Diversion Program; restorative justice, which provides peer mediation services; restorative justice circle practices; and the Transforming Justice Hub.
