Our vision at For Women of Power! is that women across the globe will walk in their purpose without limitations. We serve women who are finding and walking in their Kingdom purpose by providing them with Kingdom and wealth building knowledge, and resources for personal, professional, and entrepreneurial pursuits. Our Hand Up Program serves women ages 21 - 55+ who are looking for a hand up to receive temporary support for their basic needs and bills. We also provide training on the following topics: faith, lifestyle and finances. Our service areas include: Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles counties + Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas only. * __________________ Content Design Intern Status: Intern (unpaid) 2-5 hours per week (six month commitment is preferred) Reports to: Executive Director/Founder Position Overview & Basic Function: The Content Design Intern works closely with the Executive Director/Founder. The Development department exists to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward individuals & companies interested in supporting For Women of Power!. In addition it is to create awareness, educate and involve our audiences. Strongly preferred: someone currently pursuing or who has obtained a degree in Nonprofit Administration, Communications or a closely related field. Core Responsibilities: Assisting with the development of fundraising campaigns, including thinking creatively about campaign messages, as well as implementing the logistics of campaigns (social media posts, e-mails, campaign landing page, etc). Developing materials for presenting For Women of Power! to potential partners and donors. Assisting with the development of marketing and communications campaigns and scheduling campaigns - Instagram, LinkedIn and Mailerlite (email) Work with other interns on projects and campaigns. ** Experience with Instagram reels and short form video is a plus. ** Specific hours, start and end dates are flexible and to be determined between the intern and the Executive Director/Founder. Job Qualifications: Experience and Knowledge Understanding and supporting the mission of For Women of Power!. A commitment to serving underserved communities and youth in developing countries. Ability to apply our values in relationship development, written work, and communication. Experience with creating and maintaining spreadsheets, developing communications materials, managing simple projects with minimal supervision, and providing outstanding work. Excellent organizational and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and social media platforms. Partnerships Intern Status: Intern (unpaid) 2-3 hours per week (six month commitment desired) Reports to: Executive Director/Founder Position Overview & Basic Function: The Partnerships Intern works closely with the Executive Director/Founder. The Partnership department exists to develop and enhance current and future partner relationships for our programs - the Hand Up Program provides temporary financial assistance and pop-up distributions for women. Strongly preferred: someone currently pursuing a degree in Nonprofit Administration or those interested in nonprofit partnerships, and/or the nonprofit sector Core Responsibilities: Organize and manage partnership data and information Identifying, researching and compiling leads for potential partners and in-kind donations Identifying, researching and compiling lists of pop up locations Data entry and tracking measures for our partnerships Outreach and raise awareness of For Women of Power! Assist in building partnerships and channels Assist in creating systems for partner cultivation and stewardship Specific hours, start and end dates are flexible and to be determined between the intern and the Executive Director/Founder. Email Marketing Intern (unpaid) 2-5 hours per week (four to six month commitment is preferred; not ideal for a summer internship) Reports to: Executive Director/Founder We serve women who are seeking and walking in their Kingdom purpose by providing them with Kingdom and wealth building knowledge, along with the resources for personal, professional and entrepreneurial pursuits. Our primary programs will include (1) supporting women temporarily with basic needs, bills, gas, and groceries and (2) providing training to edify and educate women on the following topics: lifestyle, finance and faith. Although located in Southern California, we are open to interns across the nation. We are a growing nonprofit organization that will be launching in the next couple of months. Do you want to be a part of a developing organization and lend your skills? The Email Marketing Intern works closely with the Executive Director/Founder. The Communications department exists to build awareness, educate, and solicit individuals & companies interested in supporting For Women of Power!. Strongly preferred: someone currently pursuing or who has obtained a degree in Nonprofit Administration, Communications or a closely related field.
