Mission Statement
Street Soccer PDX is dedicated to overcoming community challenges by providing free-to-play Community Clubs that challenge the prevalent pay-to-play model in soccer while promoting inclusive, diverse community building.
Description
Our core activities at Street Soccer USA are designed to foster a sense of community, inclusion, and personal growth. Our Community Club practices are the foundation of this mission, occurring weekly for an hour and a half. With the support of at least two dedicated coaches, these sessions provide a safe and empowering space for participants to develop not only their soccer skills but also life skills, fostering friendships, teamwork, and a deep sense of belonging. Additionally, we organize structured games that allow participants to put their skills into action and celebrate their progress. These events are a testament to the community we've built. Furthermore, our annual summer tournament is a culmination of our year-round efforts, bringing together participants from all walks of life, showcasing their talent, and reinforcing the sense of community we hold dear. Together, these core activities help us create a vibrant, resilient, and unified community dedicated to positive change.
